Re: turning center retrofit for home shop?

I am glad to know I am not the only person to think of retro-fitting
an old lathe....I have a very old Lodge and shipley lathe the lead
screw runs the carraige on my lathe so a new ballscrew there would
take care of me but I would have to put a new screw in my
compound...a freind and I have talked about it alot, but I need to
get my mill converted back to cnc first.....we may have to throw some
ideas back and forth on the lathe.....lol Also I would like to thank
everybody.....All of you have helped me even if it wasnt direct help
I have learned alot through all the post....Again THANK YOU ALL!!!!
