OK, these are analog servo amplifiers for brushless motors (but they can
drive brush motors, too.) Do you have the motors?

Well, I have a product that will do it. It is called the PPMC, and my web
page is http://jelinux.pico-systems.com/PPMC.html

It has an encoder counter board, a DAC board to produce the velocity
command signals to the servo amp, and a digital I/O board for limit
switches and spindle and coolant control.

This hardware is supported by EMC, which does accept position information
from the encoders on the motors.
