Hi Bill,
Yeah I thought about that. It's still better than having a key stick down while rapid jogging. yeowzers! thats scary..lol. I dont do that much insert cutting anyway. Once I was machining a big slot all the way through the end of a 3" conveyor shaft and I was jogging around to touch off with a brand new 3/4" X 3" .4-flute TiCn coated finish mill, the key stuck and it ran into the part and broke one of the flutes before I could hit the E-stop. $60 shot in the hiney. When a key sticks it sometimes activates "sticky key" within windows and then every key sticks. I wish I knew of a way to disable that.
