Wires come from tachs/encoders to a small board where the signals appear
to be split and go to both the amps and the CPU.

being worth a lot more than my guesswork descriptions. If it looks like
your setup, a scan would be much appreciated!
He had the full manuals when he bought the machine. Took them with him
on vacation last year. In a light rain, they hit a slick spot and went
over a cliff. Their truck was stopped by the only tree for hundreds of
yards but the trailer, with manuals, went all the way and nothing was
recovered. Bummer to lose the manuals, but it could have been worse!
