I certainly agree with Mateusz.

Specific stiffness, not strength, is the main consideration in machine
structures.

Aluminum and steel are virtually identical in specific stiffness.

Steel costs less and is easier welding.

Ron, Aluminum isn’t significant problem because if you have some problem
with it I can organize some aluminum detail in Poland (manufacturer have
lowest price) but:
