It should but you need the 4-5 and 6-8-20 on the pc side or the com port
will not be OK to tx/rx data.

The Indexer may or may not need the extra jumpers.

If the indexer only uses 2, 3,7 then the comm protocal may neex X-ON / X-Off
enabled.
