Normally, motor winding insulation is a form of varnish. It is somewhat
oil soluble! I can't say about your specific motors, but in general, oil
in motor windings is extremely bad. I have had some ordinary electric
motors ruined by oil in the windings. If the windings are encapsulated
in epoxy, they should be safe. If the oil can get in to the varnish on the
wires, it could definitely ruin them.
