Thanks! Sounds like what I have been looking for.... I currently use Microsystems of Buckhannon cnc controller for one of my machines i purchased about 9 years ago, basic software, but works very well! I would like to use it on the newer machine I built this summer, but they wanted full price for another key (around 700 bucks!). So that's why I am looking at other software controllers.
What version are you using? It it the "Lite" or "Pro"? How is the tech support? Can it handle 3d type movements?
Thanks again,
Russ
Hi
Yes I have been using CNCpro for years , it is a good basic program that
will work on older computers from 133 MHz. up .
I use 2 old IBM 760 laptops and an old 300 Mhz Packard Bell . Win 95 or
98 work great , will not work with Win 2000 or XP .
I still use this program on a daily basis because it just WORKS , no
problems .
If you are interested in a much better program with ALL the bells and
whistles without the high cost go check out Mach3 ( I'll try to put a
link at the bottom ) , Mach 3 requires a computer of at least 500 Mhz (
1 Gig preferred ) running Win 2000 or XP , but is a fantastic program .
They have a really great copy you can download and try for free .
