I had problems with CNCpro a couple of years back. In CV mode the
look ahead isn't limited. What seemed to happen is that the program
got too busy calculating to put out a smooth pulse train and the
servo's with Gecko 340's would fault at random, really inconvenient
times.

I tried EMC but it wasn't very intuitive or very stable back then.
Ended up with Mach2. Works great. I do complex 3d surfacing all the
time with no problems.
