Well, I THOUGHT is was seperate.

One end IS a 2 piece setup, the Right Side. It is a tight fit with
the leadscrew inside the piece, there are 2 pins thru it.

I presumed it was setup this way to allow for a slightly skewed
bearing on that end, like a motor coupling.
It feels too tight for that, (as in solid).

It has either gummed up, rusted up or has some uther purpose.

The other end is actually part of the leadscrew, it looks similar
but once all the goop is cleaned off there are no pins and it is
a solid piece.

One end runs thru roller bearings and the other, bent end, runs
thru a pair of ball bearings.

We'll know in the morning... Off to class.
