Fellow members:
I'm working on an App call "Universal Control Ports" which allows one to setup kit like this and assigns each individual relay to either manual on/off or scheduled timed base. The kit that is currently in development is Working under Windows XP, Serial ports access and controls up to 8 relays per port and can be expand up to 16 relays per port (Com1,Com2,Com3,Com4 possibility). I will have this Software available soon and will get back to the group. It is currently in testing mode for Aquarium application; Controlling Co2 Solenoid, Lights, Wet/Dry Filter, Protein Skimmer and Air pump.
Best Wishes to all,
Ben

Maybe for that EMC port......
There is 12 volts inside the PC, so that is not an issue.

I would like to have a serial port connection run the relays. many
relays are for things that do not have any timing issues, coolant
pump, vacuume, clamps... etc... Having use of relays on the serial
