HI Joe;
Unfortunately I just recently upgraded my system (PC) and didn't take
time to back up all of my good URL's. So while I can't give your good
web addresses I can offer a couple of suggestions.
First; it may pay to search the web for cartridge spindles or spindle
blocks. Unfortunately I've found searching the web for this sort of
stuff difficult, especially for US vendors or builders. It appears
that this is another market that American manufactures / supplier are
giving up on. It may be far easier to find spindle cartridges than the
ISO type block.
Second; Last I looked I did not find much on US sourced or built ISO
spindles. There are a number of makers of industrial spindles out
there but my luck in finding this category of spindle has not been good.
Third; If you haven't purchased this sort of hardware before do expect
sticker shock.
Fourth; Try looking for names like MTA, Dynomax, Westwind, POPE/SETCO,
Gilman, NSK, SKF, and others. This web address:
http://www.mmsonline.com/articles/hsm9802.html might also help.
