find a used Precise SC-77, with chiller and inverter (or the air cooled
SC-60), should be doable for about $1-1.5K
Max collet size is 3/8", collets are pricey (~80 each) but they work
like a charm. (note that
the precise spindles are a 2 phase motor and a generic 3 phase inverter
won't work)
