Air compressors are not efficient energy conversion/transmission devices.
(The huge amount of heat being given off by the tank should be a clue
about lost energy.) Tiny, single-stage turbines are probably many times
worse! 60 CFM??? Yikes, you are talking about a $30,000 rotary screw
compressor! Do you have 600 Amp 3-phase service? How about 480 V?
