110vac secondary for a 120 volt DC servo? That would be 156 volts DC due to the RMS. These servos are 4 amp continuous, 20 amp peak. A 20-40 amp drive? at 20 amps they would be a puddle of aluminum. Peak is bye-bye servo.

To use Gecko's, the power supply should should be around 80 volts DC at 6 amps. To get that he would need a transformer with a 120vac primary, 55 volt secondary and va rating of 600 and a 750 va rating would probably be ok but a little too big. 80 volts DC is 2/3 of the plated rating which will represent a 1/3 drop in total RPM without any loss in torque because the neccessary amperage is available.

Fred Smith at IMservice has a toroidal transformer close to this size for like 48 bucks.

What's an "alim"??

I recommend getting the 200V 20/40A Rutex drives for those motors.
Then use an 800VA - 1KVA control transformer that has 220 single phase
primary and 110VAC secondary for your power supply transformer. This
setup will enable you to get full potential from the motors in
question. There are some toroid transformers up on ebay now, with 2x
55VAC secondaries at 800VA, wire them in series for 110V. These are
Buy It Now for ~$70.

Geckos are great, and my preference, but you will need more for
those motors. Good luck.
