decision, they extend the warantee of the VSD by one additional year
if the Line Reactor is used.

and the IGBT (sp?) drives started comming out. We sold for the last
6 step (Graham) manufacture when everybody was PWM.
I had not heard of line reactors but did over power factor units to
bring the drives close to unity.
From what I read, it looks like protection of external devices as
well.
