Hi,

I read the book last night and cannot disagree with what you say on one
level, but still stand by my comment below as the answer to the original
question. It is the fastest, cheapest way to build a CNC router for
woodwork.

The book is probably the first complete manual that I have seen on how it
could be done but not the only way it is possible. There are glaring
omissions in design, manufacture and software, apart from the ones you
pointed out. Or was it written before Turbo CNC, Mach2 and Gecko drives to
mention a few?

I believe the book should be viewed as a tool in helping one to design ones
own machine rather than doing it exactly verbatum.

Regards,

Terry
