I assumed TPG was not Triangle-positive-ground, as would be used with
carbide inserts, but Tool Post Grinder.

LittleMachineShop has a couple TPG's at low cost.


But, if you have not used one, they are not for removing metal
quickly, but rather to gain a good finish and very close tolerance.

they take only tenth's off at a time, 0.0001" or so, 0.00005mm ?
