Just forget him, thats an arrogant and ignorant attitude, and he doesn't
deserve your business.

Sounds like the guy who sells plans I heard about. Organgrinder or
something. Same attitude anyways... Oh well. I'm sure you can source
something in the UK.

Have you ever thought about RC speed controllers? SOme of these are
rated to mindblowing current. Maybe it's possible to wire then to a
standard servo tester for the PWM input. Though most of them have a
failsafe arming procedure to go through before they will power the
motor..
