If you guys want, let me know when you get your machines and get them
apart. I still have my stock Bridgeport "Dog Bone". That's the thing
that the nuts attach to. There's a real name for it, I just can't
recall at the moment.
I could measure it and then you could see if they knocked off those
dimensions. If they did, then you've got a shot at using the dog bone
from Rockford or Elrod. Elrod claims to have a beefier dog bone.
Both will customize the screws for you as I guess y'all know. Elrod
is in this business of full conversions. I've talked to the guy,
Dwayne Elrod, he's pretty cool. He has some experience with Chinese
machines and may know what you need already.
Rockford does screws. The conversions are not their 100% business. I
have their screws by the way. Fine products.
If you call Elrod, tell him I sent you if you don't mind. No big deal
either way. Long story, I can tell you off line if you want.
Also. www.MSCDirect.com has a machine department. They do their own
mill retrofits. They might have ball screw kits or be able to do them
for you. You'd have to call them for the custom work I imagine. I've
seen new retro'd chinese machine for sale there..... Who knows?
My conversion saga is over at CNC Zone.

Hope that helps.
