One thing about 3/4" plywood (in my experience), is that its kerf widens as
you go through the material, since it has voids that provide oxygen, and
the bottom burns more than the top--you may want to consider MDF, or even a
thinner marine ply (no voids) if you can. I remember from about a decade
ago that Connecticut Die Cutting was using several large lasers to make die
board, they are in Waterbury CT-so what you want to do has already been
perfected by them--I am sure others do it too, you may want to talk to them.
