The board provides 12 volts to power the proximity sensors. The one I use
came from Automation Direct (AM1-AN-1H). The working voltage is 10 - 30
VDC. It is also has a 12 mm thread with a sensing distance of 2 mm. From my
understanding a 2 mm sensing distance is better than a 4 mm sensing distance
for CNC routers. The reason being is that a 4 mm sensing distance proximity
sensor may be more sustainable to false sensing of metal chips.
