Mach 3 Help

I don't think this has been mentioned before here but to help people installing, setting up and running Mach 3 Art Fenary has started doing a set of video's.
So far there are only two but he's aiming to add on to these at about one a week.

The whole idea is to take pressure off the user group for many of the simpler FAQ subjects that seem to keep getting asked by new users.

To say this was a thown together experiment I think they have come out remarkably well and together with the brilliant manual put together by John Prentice
it really leads the way that help and advise for programs such as these should be addressed.

For anyone new to Mach3 the main website is http://www.artofcnc.ca
This is a windows based controller for up to 6 axis that's fully featured and doesn't depend on any hardware cards, dongles or suchlike making upgrades very easy and at no extra cost once the reasonable cost license is bought.
The demo will run up to 1,000 lines of code without having to be registered to give new users a decent chance to try it out.

The same software runs lathes, mills, plasma cutters and lasers and all are well supported by various users who have contributed.
Lathe and Mill programs have a series of wizards by various users that make it into a conversational program forsimple repition work loke pocketing, slots, bolt holes, screcutting and thread milling.

It's well worth a look as it's leaving the rest of the so called low cost programs standing.
