Many of the SPICE compatible schematic programs will allow you to draw your
schematics and to test them on your PC. That is why I like CircuitMaker,
however it isn't exactly cheap. I have had mine for several years, updated it of
course, and the CircuitMaker and TraxMaker professional package cost around
$1600.00 USD at the time I purchased it. If all you want to do is draw your
diagrams and not be able to simulate the circuit, then DesignCad or TurboCad would
be a good start. Unless they have upped the price considerable, you could
get DesignCad from IMSI for around $99.00 USD. It can be downloaded and with a
credit card number, they will E-mail you the key code to enable it.
