I Agree with that,
I have a Deskcnc controller that can do threads waiting to be used
on a laser cutter sometime in the future.
but Idon't want to have another PC running machine.(already have a
gantry with deskcnc)
Besides ,If I can do it with microprocessors I can use it in any
future machines with simple functions that don't need a PC hanging
around just to make a simple move like go to that point and stop.
I've just got a south bend lathe clone missing all the gears to cut
threads. got the idea? I could just buy the gears or machine new ones
but that would be soooo simple :-) .
