You make an excellent point below! You have convinced
me that using standard fuses that burn out when the
coil current is exceeded is probably a better way to
go. I'll leave the resettable fuses alone.
I agree that turning off all phases is best, but for
now I just want something that will save me the hassle
of unsoldering an L298 when something goes wrong.
