  Guys,
Thanks for all the suggestions to solve my industrial project.
Based on an offline conversation with Phil Mattison, I'm going to
proceed with adjusting the bottom roller manually, to establish the
number of turns on the lead screw it takes for correction. This will
also give me a time factor required for correction, and I can proceed
with automating the task.
When I posted this problem, I did not realize the possible number
of solutions. I printed them all, together with the links suggested,
and right now, it's a pretty fat file.
