RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Spindle Start Delay - Do I need to build one in???

I am re-installing the manual control for the spindle as well as
allowing MACH to have control (selectable via toggle switch) and I
believe Bridgeport ran the brake power wire through both the FWD and REV
motor contactors so that when either contactor was actuated it would cut
the power to the solenoid holding the air cylinder extended and the
brake on. I think this was a safety feature to ensure the brake was not
powered and control was originated by a transistor somewhere in the
original controller (that I don't have). I could be wrong however. I
guess I need to plan for some kind of delay. Anyone got any ideas? Any
help is always appreciated.
