Takisawa Astroturn DTX-1 Retro Fit

Hi all,

I have the oppertunity to get a Takisawa DTX-1 for next to nothing and
was hoping that someone out there had any experience with retrofitting
the control on one. It has a Fanuc 5T now, and I am wondering about
the DC spindle and whether or not the servo motors are brushless.

Basicly, would you recommend trying to get this lathe going?
