I have CadMax Solid Master, which is a $300 parametric solids modeler
that can output to STL.
For STL-> GCode, I have STLWorks (from IMService - $100).

I like CadMax (which has most of the functionality of SolidWorks),
though it's a bit clunky to use, and there haven't been any updates for
several years. I think there's a 30-day evaluation available on their
website.
