Hi to the list,
Hopefully this IS on topic.
I recall a few months ago that we were discussing Rapid Prototyping; which
is basically a process that extrudes a material onto a moving table being
positioned by CNC.
As we've recently acquired a Rapid Prototyping machine (Dimension
ProtoPlus), here at work, I'm inspired to make some sort of heated head for
a CNC machine to do this. In use, ABS (?) plastic rod would be extruded
onto a moving table. (Mount it on a Wood Duck?).
This is the website of some sort of organization that is discussing this.

The extruder is what I thought was of interest:

Of course, I've got TOO MANY projects already started, but it's a place to
get ideas and think about such a project.
