Where have all the A3977's gone?

Does anyone have two Allegro A3977SED's they are prepared to sell me?
I desperately need to repair a couple of boards and the only stock I can
find is with a company that want to charge me US$75 to ship 2 chips to
Australia. My requests for samples from Allegro seem to get ignored. Very
frustrating..

All help or suggestions appreciated!
