It's a modbus interface, so I'm pretty sure all I need is the doco on what
coils and registers the drives parameters map on to.

Most likely you will need their software to talk to that control via
the serial connection. If you are lucky they will have an open API or
SDK so you could write some software yourself. Some of those controls
have their own set of proprietary commands. Sometimes the
documentation weighs more than the drive (:_)
