Hi Jon:
Thanks for the tips...I was wondering about whether the manual pulse
generator needed the encoders to move the motors, or if it just feeds pulses
to the machine.
Sounds like the encoder is needed for controlled servo motor movement after
all.
I'll start digging into the back panel today.
