Re: Is my SMALL plasma table idea nuts?

I plan to use the cutting table I already have to catch sparks, etc.
Since I plan to cut 1/4" mostly (maybe down to 1/8") the speeds
shouldn't be extreme using my Powermax 600. I have a design in mind
that is very cheap to make (bronze bearings and ordinary steel rods for
linear bearings, regular threaded rod for lead screws, etc.). I also
hope to be able to use the Xylotex three axis card I already have,
hoping that 2.5 amps per axis and 269 oz-in steppers will work. The
overall investment will be very small.

I will post the results when I get it done.
