hi tom.
you have to have specific distance for plasma to cut somthing as the torch it is not the right solution for 3D, but for water jet yes 3D might work only to cut 30 to 90 degree shape by turning the Z axis front back right left.
the question is the software that can control the 4 side of Z axis movement
