Tyson,

Let me jump in here with a different suggestion that may help someone.

John Johnson at Ez-Router will sell their very nice belt reduction drives
and 6' of track. They use 14.5 deg rack and pinion gears. After talking with
John, he has me convinced that 14.5 deg is the way to go.

Their rack is not drilled, but I have been assured that only the outside is
hardened and once you get through the surface the drilling gets easer.

I have a project coming up soon and I will be taking John up on his offer.

Ez-Router also uses Bishop Wisecarver wheels.
