After you read this I'll probably be kicked off this list. But here I go.
I have a home built sawmill that uses a Bodine gear drive DC motor to move
the head/band down the track. Now the 120/130 Vac is not a problem for the
Bodine because of the voltage rating of this motor (1/8hp). But, I needed a
speed control for it. The speed control I used is a Light Dimmer and bridge
pack. Works good for a $5.00 control. Has a few problems but for the price
what can I say. Also, a little to small for 3 hp.
