The Tormach has an Auxiliary Socket on the Main panel. To quote the Tormach
manual page 8-6.
Quote: An auxiliary socket is provided on the operators control panel. This
can be used for interfacing any device that needs an input that can be read
by the Control Software. A common application would be a touch probe to
allow digitizing of a part under program control.
Endquote
Since the Control Software is Mach2 (soon to be Mach3) you might want to go
to that web site http://www.machsupport.com/ and look at the documentation
available. By scripts, macros, setup assignments, this input could be used
for many purposes.
