Happened to me several times. I took the belt cover off, with a dull screw driver on the driven pulley whacked it lightly and twisted drive pulley/belt to get off of the limit switch.

I have a Boss5 and I took the Quill to high and now I cannot
move it back down. How do I get this quill back down and
working correctly once again?
