3D printer

Can anyone who has, has access to or has used a 3D printer tell me if
they can print a point cloud or a bitmap stack?

I'm thinking of the starch based types.

I have point cloud data a part of a bee that I CT scanned and because
of the way the data is it will be very hard to convert into a real 3D
model however if it were just printed in 3D much of the detail I am
not interested in would fall away.
