Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Slo Syn 3 wire motor
Hi All,
I have a slo-syn motor rated at ss250, 250 oz-in, 0.6A, 120V.
The motor has only 3 wires but can be converted to uni or bipolar by
following the instructions given by Paul Jones www.cnconabudget.com.
I want to use the motor to build a dividing head but also learn how to
drive a stepper motor. Ultimately going on to convert my mill.
As a ambitious newbie I would appreciate any help or guidance on
sourcing a suitable driver circuit that I can build. I am in South
Africa so ready built boards or alternative motors are not readily
[inexpensively] available.
Kind regards
Paul
