Shadi,
If any system does a sudden stop from high speed, it will lose position. Motor size is irrelevant. It's inertia. The motor must ramp down as commanded by the software.
If the escape key is hit with Mach3 that is "Stop" not "feedhold", Stop terminates script abruptly, no ramping. If Feedhold or Spacebar is hit, the servo ramps down to stop and will not lose steps.
