Your not referring to grey code input drives by any chance when you say 2p.
We've had some discussion of this on the mach site, it seemed very strange
to bother with grey code, I was concerned we totally had the wrong end of
the stick.
Seems we might have found in you someone with experience of these which
doesn't surprise me, isn't much you haven't played with.
