Another option is the Neutrix Speakon connectors used by professional
musicians. These are not cheap, but they are designed to handle high
currents in a high vibration environment and come in 2, 4 and 8 pole
variants. On the negative side, they only have one cable connector
(male) and one chassis mount connector (female) available and they
are not cheap. Recommended uses include amplifiers under 1 KW (that
would be some servo!)
