OT, Any dynascope users out there?

I've got a vision engineering dynascope TS-2 stereo viewer just like
this one more or less:
http://www.test-hire.co.uk/Vision_ts-3_stereo_dynascope_ts3.htm
It projects the image of both objectives to a rotating lenticular disk
giving a stereoscopic view on the screen, it works really well. It
also has a 45 degree viewer which allows you to look at an object from
45 degrees and then orbit it which is very useful.
I'd really like to add a camera to it, there is a plate on the side
that can be removed and a mirror that slides in place deflecting the
light from one objective out of the port, I've seen pictures with
something connected to this port but I can't decide if it is to allow
a camera to be attached or to let you project on to a bigger screen or
something.
I thought someone in the group might know something. Please email me
direct to grezmos hat googlemail not com
