Oh I give up. I promise I'll post a link to the ELS stuff when I next see my
mate. As for cheap linears using skate bearings, I have two cemented carbide
fillings in my incisors. What I do is stand on my skateboard in front of my
lathe and hang onto the ballscrew..

I really-REALLY don't want another CNC machine, just because it costs
less or is just as much work (or easier) to use.
I also don't own a pick-up for those two times I need a truck every year.
