Oh I give up. I promise I'll post a link to the ELS stuff when I next see my
mate. As for cheap linears using skate bearings, I have two cemented carbide
fillings in my incisors. What I do is stand on my skateboard in front of my
lathe and hang onto the ballscrew..

I have a manual change gear lathe and have had call to make thread
pitches that are not available only twice in the last 10 years.

I have no desire to have a CNC lathe, but I do have a desire to have
an ELS (of any sort) that does not take up any space. All my CNC
stuff has a monitor and a PC and breakout board.

I really-REALLY don't want another CNC machine, just because it costs
less or is just as much work (or easier) to use.

I also don't own a pick-up for those two times I need a truck every year.

MORE DETAILS ON THE BEARING DESIGN PLEASE !!!
(just kidding)
