Yup – working that direction right now, although doing so really points to
why living in the digital age is pretty cool (not withstanding the Global
warming issues). Eg, once we get going, we will have to calibrate for
running 5 – 10 M in ½ M intervals, so 11 different counts or times. This is
actually turning into a nice learning exercise for the kids and me – doing
this with old technology 555’s and then (hopefully) moving it to a PIC
control. I kinda missed the digital electronics revolution after moving
back to the family farm in the 80’s. thanks, Chuck
