Hiya. New to thread.

New to the thread, hi all. Having a go at a small (200mm x 300mm x
75 mm) MDF PCB to light aluminium miller. Plans are done,
construction starts tomorrow (flatmate going on holiday, no idea
what kind of mess I will be making :) ).
Have an engineering background and it seems a bit strange making a
milling machine from bits of draws and glorified cardboard but what
the hell :) Surprised at the accuracy of cheap, diy shop sliders
though.
Anyway... Also on the toughbooks group, if anyone is looking for a
good value touchscreen laptop that's ideal for the workshop and has
all ports running to standard spec's, look no further. A cf-27 or
cf-28 will not disappoint.
Cheers,
Stan.
