Why ever not? On M6 you should be able to do whatever you configure it
to do, including jog if you wish, surely it should default to that? What
does it do on M6 normally?

Can't you feedhold and jog during a run?

What happens if you break an insert? Should be able to feedhold, jog
away, change the insert and continue.

Mach can do that, and there's no need for anything to be in the base
Gcode either, other than the M6 Txx
